There is surely lots of money to be made on Adsense. and I used to really make it work but suffered from the google slap and now I like the new system on ebay revealed in David Fransko’s new book. You can get a free 30 minute audio from http://www.crusherbonus.com where he explains the overview of how this works his tips and tricks are long overdue and completely in compliance with ebay terms. Ho ho! The corporates strike again! There are bad things afoot in the Facebook Empire, some internal rebels think that the slow death of the site stems directly from the proliferation of sponsored widgets and the collection of personal data and usage. Big Brother IS actually watching you. Joe Public knows and is voting with their feet.

$150m on servers? I’d love to have been in the board room to hear that one. I presume it happened when they were still growing. Rumour has it there’s a lot of head scratching going on in Palo Alto.

The corporates are killing another golden goose.

Hello everyone. I came across this site after searching Google for “How to start a free dating site.” I have enjoyed reading this blog and the posts that follow…it has been very informative; however, I think I have more questions than I did before :).
I own several domains (purchased within the last year) that I think would be great for dating sites or social networking sites….matchedbyfate, matchedbyfaith, singlebutready, lustymatches, imjusthorny (my favorite), and swingersandflings. While my sole aspiration is to provide for myself and my family to live comfortably, I would be extactic to reach a fraction of the success that some of you seem to share.
It appears there are three formats available for dating websites…Paid Dating websites, Free dating websites, and social networking sites. So, I am curious what you think will have the longest lasting lifespan? It seems that mosts of the posts believe that the social networking site is the way to go, but that free dating sites…as long as they are full featured…might succeed.
If anyone of you have some additional advice to provide, I would sincerely appreciate it.

Mobile users would be best served with a custom and efficient POF app for their cellphones that would provide the same functionality available from the POF web site with some more bells and whistle done specially for mobile. i.e. proximity searching for example, show me the profiles of some people that are physically close to me for example. Kind of maps everybody on a POF party or popular coffee shop

Look at other companies, like Google and Facebook, have been doing with cellphones. Originally WAP sites were developed and the user experience was so bad that very few people use them. Now you have custom apps for everything, Google Maps, Facebook, you named it. When you have access to such feature rich graphically oriented client apps, a simple 160 bytes txt msg seems so outdated and a waste of the resources available on most cellphones today.

Blackplanet what happen, i found it hard to check my page,what happen to blackplanet. Pls i dont want to loose my friends in there on blackplanet, i av good friends in there.
And to all other people saying nigeria are scammer, i belief there are some innocent one in there, who are not scammer, i got good friend on blackplanet and migente, and i never scammed them. They trusted me in there, they see me on webcam, and i gave them my cell number.
