San Fran….

So what is there to see in San fran? I’m getting on a airplane in a few hours and heading off to Supernova Conference. I’ve been down there once, but didn’t really get a chance to see the city as i got detoured to speak at google.

Anyone else going to the conference, and anything interesting happening there I should know about?

You can go watch Barry Bonds struggle to hit home runs with steroids.

I heard that the tech museum in san jose is good

The first thing to do is go to a restaurant for dinner. After the end, when you are just about to give the check or whatnot, ask the waiter (or tress) what other restaurants they’d reccomend. They’ll give you the best places to eat๐Ÿ™‚

    Hey Markus,

I live about 40 minutes from San Francisco in a Suberb Called Walnut Creek. If you would like I can show you around, and if your up for it I would love to chat with you about the free online dating market and our websites. Let me know…

Hiding behind a name with no web site, how big of you to comment like that John you pathetic loser.

Keep up the great work Markus, it’s unfortunate that there will always be jealous idiots around that can never make anything of their own lives.

Ahhh there’s always one that ruins the fun. Sounds like someone needs some grammar lessons as well. Full stops and commas dont mix. Neither do slashes in the middle of words.

After you get some english lessions, and maybe some social tact, feel free to come back and reply to the post so Markus can have a good time in San Fran.

Otherwise, save the wise cracks and the immature ramblings to yourself, or maybe even your Junior High School class. I’m sure they would find it funny…being 13 and all.

When you believe you are an adult, and can behave like one, you’d be more than welcome to join in. But for now, we will just shun you as the forum idiot and you shall retain that title until you have proven otherwise.

Markus, feel free to go heckle the 49ers๐Ÿ˜› (speaking of immature)

    I just deleted his comments.

I don’t have time to travel outside of san fran sorry. Just here for the conference days then heading back home. Its nice and warm here though!

I think free dating sites etc are all screwed and we will spend the next year reinventing ourselves, but this is the internet what industry doesn’t reinvent itself every year or so online?

  8. jammy Says:

  9. James J. Says:

So, are you going to turn plentyoffish into a social networking like site, Markus?๐Ÿ™‚ Or maybe go paid…

  10. Sunny Says:

    Hey Markus,

Let a fellow canadian buy you a couple of beers tonight!

Email me back if your interested!

    Hey Markus,
I used to be in San Fran all the time with another co I had and here are the things you must do while there:
    1) Take the Hyde and Powell Cable car to fishersmans wharf
    2) Eat at Scoma’s or Basta Pasta, or Johns (maltese falcon)
    3) If you get time check out the Moma as it is really amazing!
Have fun and don’t make eye contact with all the street people and they’ll leave you alone!

check out the matthew barney show at sfmoma. 1600 gallons of petroleum jelly can’t be wrong. have fun whatever you end up doing…

Hey, it’s Gay Pride Weekend! Go anywhere near Castro this weekend, or Market Street on Sunday, and you are guarenteed to see things you have never seen before. This is the funniest, sweetest, most extravagant, and goofy fun you can have for free. Seriously, it is a truly great time. Check it out.

If you want something more sedate, grab a friend and have a drink and incredible tapas at the Top of the Mark. Great view, great food. Watch the beautiful people mate and mingle. No sneakers allowed. If you aren’t wearing a jacket, they will provide one.
I second the cable car to Fisherman’s Wharf.

Try to fit in a meal at the Slanted Door at the Ferry Building at the foot of Market Street. You’ll never get a reservation, but the counter is just fine and food is beyond heaven.

There’s actually a bus tour you can pay for that will take you around to all the sites while you site in air-conditioned comfort. It’s a good way to spend a few hours if your feet are tired and you want to get an overview of the city.

Also, we have this big orange bridge that is kind of famous.

Crap I just realized I’m gonna miss the interview this Tuesday between you and Shoemoney…๐Ÿ˜ฆ I’m going to be camping and had forgotten about it… >_>

If you have time, you should spend it over at the Ferry Building. There’s a whole slew of wonderful restaurants, including the Slanted Door and Taylor’s Automatic Refresher. Lots of tables outside, a terrific view of the bay, and a very easy in & out — it’s at the end of Market Street (at the Embarcadero BART stop). Have a terrific time in San Francisco! Best, BL

Life is a tragedy for those who feel, and a comedy for those who think.

Tragedy OR Comedy – Which is you pick?. It\’s all depends on how you act? So be rational to keep on laughing…
