RHW, launched in 1999 and based in Poughkeepsie, N.Y., operates its sites under the “…” brand in U.S. and the “…” brand in Canada, and also owns dating site  Its revenue was estimated at $35 million annually, according to a Classified Intelligence e-mail alerts (not available online), who also reported the $100 million figure (not disclosed by the companies themselves). is part owned by PE firm Warburg Pincus, operates sites such as HealthECareers Network and, a news and recruitment site for the pharma industries. It also operates local recruitment sites for the American City Business Journals.

This was the second recent major acquisition of a group of niche sites the last month or so. In January, Monster paid $61 million for AffinityLabs, a much smaller company that operated seven niche recruitment sites and industry portals.

    Cupid and the regional advertise on am radio endlessly. If I remember they had a special discounted deal for radio ads. Honestly, I don’t see ever becoming much more than it is now. I hear there commercials 10 times a day and still can’t get their site right. (pretty sweet domain… haha not)

    Without radio ads they would dry up and blow away.

    i would like to do this but not sure how it would go over. with out others it would be good ones i could get the word out but i would need help and doing so. it could be a lot of fun and everones gol to go out to a dance have fun a meet others i payed to be on one of your sites any i have not got no hits but not like i am giveing up on it i can do partys for otheres out there but to get the word out will take money to get going,
    what do you think and how would it be profit to me i am just asking you could make money if ytou got the word out well let me know ok
